Frequently Asked Questions
I'm not Wiccan. Can I still attend fairs and public events ?
Of course! The Greenwood Grove is open to everyone looking for to attend workshops, fairs, or public Sabbats?
What is Pathworking?
Pathworking is guided spiritual journeying using myth, symbolism, and meditation.
Through ritual and inner exploration, we:
-Meet archetypes and deities
-Heal old wounds
-Strengthen intuition
-Explore shadow work
-Deepen our spiritual practice
It is intentional inner work within a sacred container.
Do I need to be Wiccan to attend?
No. While our roots are Wiccan, we welcome respectful seekers from various spiritual backgrounds.
You do not need prior experience — only sincerity and an openness to sacred space.
What is Greenwood Grove?
Greenwood Grove is a Wiccan-based spiritual community devoted to nature reverence, seasonal celebration, healing work, and guided pathworking.
We gather to honour the Earth, the cycles of the Wheel of the Year, and the sacred within ourselves and one another.
What are your rituals like?
Our rituals are candlelit, grounded in nature symbolism, and guided with care.
You can expect meditation, energy work, seasonal themes, and reflective practice.
They are immersive — but never intimidating.
Who can attend?
We offer different types of gatherings:

Full Moon Healings – Open to all respectful participants

Sabbats – Open seasonal celebrations

Women’s Circles (18+) – For those who identify as women

Initiatory Pathworking Circles – By application
Each space is held intentionally.
Why is some work private?
Advanced pathworking and initiatory teachings unfold gradually to maintain integrity, readiness, and energetic safety.
Mystery traditions reveal themselves in stages.
Do your rites involve sex?
No.
Our rituals are clothed, consent-based, and spiritually focused. Sacred sexuality is honoured symbolically, not physically enacted.
You Feel the Call 🌙
Not everyone does.
Some walk past the forest and see only trees.
Others feel something ancient whispering between the branches.
If you are here, reading this, something in you may already remember.
I feel called. What’s my first step?

Come, experience the energy, and let alignment unfold naturally.

What Is the Difference Between a Coven, a Circle, and a Study Group?
These terms are sometimes used interchangeably in modern Pagan communities, but traditionally they describe different kinds of spiritual gatherings.
A Coven
A coven is a small, structured spiritual group dedicated to practicing Wicca within a specific tradition.
Covens usually:
-
work together regularly for rituals and teachings
-
follow a particular lineage or tradition
-
include initiated members and trained leadership
-
emphasize both spiritual development and group responsibility
Because of the depth of trust, training, and commitment involved, covens tend to grow slowly and intentionally. Membership is usually preceded by a period of study and seeking.
A coven is not simply a social gathering — it is a spiritual family and working magical unit.
This Path Is Not Performance
